Inner Conversation
This project came to light, while repeatedly failing to generate anything cohesive. I had many ideas, but they were changing as quickly as the scenes around the covid-19 pandemics progression.
These images combine sculpture and photography, to expose an emotional interaction of inner resolve. A sculpture constructed to mimic the position and proportions of a human body, created out of aluminum cans, illustrates the invisible conversations in progress.
The aluminum cans are a combination of beer, or other alternatives, symbolizing a common external remedy of choice.
The images provide an external view of inner interactions, and invisible moments when these calls for resolve are realized. Calling upon moments of isolation, stress, relaxation, celebration and addiction; where in these moments’ questions of companionship, connection, release, leisure, and struggle are momentarily answered.
